Course Description

This course is designed to help students successfully navigate a successful transition into the college experience, both academically and personally.  The course will enhance student success, foster a sense of belonging, and promote student engagement.  Students will be introduced to lifelong learning skills.  Special attention will be given to the basics of academic life: academic demands, student resources, student responsibility, learning styles, time management, study skills, test-taking strategies, career choice, wellness, diversity, along with BSC policies and procedures.
